Block Meeting
Yesterday in the delightful spring weather, the single women held a combined block meeting in Nishtha Community center. It was attended by 84 women who were delighted to get together again. The Government Welfare officer, the Principal of the Industrial Training Institute and the police officers all attended and explained how they could help the women when they need. Nishtha project officer Mohinder and Dr. Kusum also talked to the group making it a very interesting and informative program. In celebration of this being our first large gathering since the beginning of the pandemic. Nishtha provided a sumptuous lunch and our students led the dancing afterwards.
